Loaded Chipotle Chick’n Fries

Loaded Chipotle Chick’n fries – everything you know and love about nachos, but made with crispy criss-cut french fries and chipotle seasoned blackened chick’n. With obligatory nacho cheese sauce and all the fixin’s, this loaded fries recipe is the perfect party dish, or a fun and easy weeknight meal to enjoy with friends and family.

I don’t know about ya’ll, but when it comes to Super Bowl, the only thing I’m interested in, is the food. I could care less about the game, the commercials, or the half time show. Find me in the kitchen, drink in hand, grazing the spread like a horse in a pasture. With that being said, I’m a true believer that every party spread absolutely needs nachos. Now, you can make regular old nachos if you want, but if you wanna be the MVP of game-day eats, then you need to make my Loaded Chipotle Chick’n Fries … they’re so good, they’re worthy of a touchdown dance.

Give yourself a break in the kitchen and make a big ass pot of this cozy Lemon Dill Chickpea and Orzo Soup. This one-pot, budget and weeknight-friendly meal is ready in less than 30 minutes, packed with fresh herbs, lots of lemon, and tons of garlic – so even though we’re saving you on time, we’re definitely not holding back on flavor. Trust us when we say this soup is kind of big dill.

In all seriousness, are you a lemon-in-your-soup kinda person? If you haven’t tried it before, believe me when I say it’s a game changer. Fresh lemon juice (and even some lemon zest if you’re feelin’ really frisky) can take your soup from 0 to 100 real quick. It’s bright. It’s fresh. It’s bold. All the things you need to add that extra “oomph” to a dish – without spending any extra time or money. A couple lemons, friends. That’s all it takes … ok, and maybe a few other ingredients, too, but you get the gist.

Hello, Friends!!!

It has been way too long since I’ve posted a recipe to the blog, but as promised, we are back to our regular weekly postings, and I am so excited to finish this year off with all the recipes you’ve been asking for!

First up, my version of vegan flautas ahogadas. Ya’ll have been patiently waiting for this and I am so excited to finally be posting it!

As many of you know, my wife Ashlee and I live in a city that is deeply rooted in Hispanic culture and cuisine, so this recipe is especially dear to us.
